Adelle was the founder and managing director of Cross Colours Consultancy, a design and advertising agency. After 18 years, she sold the business to IPG and resigned from her position as CEO to coach C-Suite executives full time.
With a degree in English and Industrial Psychology from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits), Adelle went on to complete the Coaching to Excellence and Associate Coaching programs at the University of Cape Town (UCT) Graduate School of Business. She became an accredited Nancy Klein, Time To Think and Dare to Lead facilitator. She completed a program in Leadership for Collective Action (Mapping and Model-Building) through Collaborative Change Works. She then completed the Newfield Institute’s Ontological Coaching to Action program with Alan Sieler. She did her Masters in Coaching & Consulting for Change through HEC, Paris and Saïd, Oxford Universities. In 2025, she completed the Virtuosity program on Leader Character.
Adelle is a Board member and Director of a non-profit organisation called Surgeons For Little Lives, which was started to support paediatric surgery at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital. Their vision and work can be viewed at www.surgeonsforlittlelives.org.
